NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) -- Javier Mojica scored a career-high 32 points as Central Connecticut cruised to a 94-71 victory over Quinnipiac Saturday.

Central (15-10, 12-1 Northeast Conference) won its 10th straight game, while Quinnipiac fell to 11-12 overall and 9-5 in the conference.

Tristan Blackwood added 24 points for the Blue Devils, while Obie Nwadike had 21 points and 14 rebounds.

Adam Gonzalez led Quinnipiac with 18 points, and former Blue Devil DeMario Anderson chipped in 16.

Central led by just four at halftime, but the Blue Devils opened things up early in the second half with a 12-3 run capped by a 3-pointer by Mojica with 17:05 left in the game. That put Central up 60-47.

The Bobcats closed to within 10 on a 3-pointer by Gonzalez, but Central iced the game with a 14-2 run over the next six minutes to push the lead to 74-52.
