A mini-run by Marshall brought the Thundering Herd to within 11 with less than six minutes remaining, but UCF regrouped and pushed their advantage back to 45-26 by halftime.

The Knights shot 56 percent from the floor during the first 20 minutes, while Marshall hit only 37 percent.
