PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Scott Rodgers scored a career-high 21 points to lead four players in double figures as Drexel defeated Delaware 77-62 on Saturday.
Mejia's 3-pointer with 5:38 remaining capped a 12-2 run that gave Drexel a 64-51 lead.
The Dragons held a 31-27 lead at the half and never trailed in the second half. Drexel converted 13 Delaware turnovers into 28 points and didn't allow any fast-break points. Rodgers scored eight of his points on the fast break.
Delaware forged a tie at 32-all with 18:59 remaining on a free throw by Courtney. The Dragons countered with a 16-0 run for a 48-32 lead.
The Blue Hens scored 17 of the next 21 points, and Courtney's tip-in after a missed 3-pointer by McMahon cut the Dragons' lead to 52-49 with 10:01 remaining. But Delaware never got any closer.
