NEW YORK (AP) -- Charron Fisher scored 20 points to lead Niagara to a 76-74 win against Manhattan on Sunday.
Tyrone Lewis added 14 points and Rydell Brooks and Lorenzo Miles had 11 apiece for the Purple Eagles (15-11, 10-5 MAAC).Devon Austin had 22 points, including 10-for-10 shooting from the free-throw line, and eight rebounds to lead the Jaspers (12-13, 9-6). Arturo Dubois scored 15 points and Guy Ngarndi added 12 for Manhattan, which shot 26-for-29 on free throws.Niagara remained tied with Loyola and Siena for second place in the conference, one game behind Marist. With the loss, Manhattan dropped to a tie for fifth place with Fairfield.The Jaspers overcame a 14 point deficit at halftime to lead 50-48 at 14:17 in the second half. There were six lead changes after that and Lewis' three-point play with 40 seconds remaining put the Purple Eagles ahead 73-70.However, Mahnattan's Patrick Bouli missed a 17-feet jump shot with 2.1 left in the game to give Niagara win.
