TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Javaris Crittenton scored a career high 29 points Tuesday night, including 11 straight during a decisive run in the second half, as Georgia Tech defeated Florida State 63-57 for the Yellow Jackets first road win in nearly two years.

Crittenton, a 6-5 freshman from Atlanta has scored 89 points in the last four games for Georgia Tech, which had not won on an opponent's home floor since a 76-72 win at Miami on Feb. 26, 2005.

Crittenton's 11 straight points sparked a 13-2 run as Tech built a 48-40 lead and he added five free throws in the final 78 seconds to preserve the win.

Georgia Tech (17-8, 5-6 Atlantic Coast Conference) also defeated Florida State 88-80 in Atlanta, Jan. 13.

Isaiah Swann scored a career high 23 points for Florida State (17-9 and 5-7) and Al Thornton added 16 points and six rebounds for the Seminoles, who have three of their final four games on the road.

Jeremis Smith was the only other Tech player in double figures with 10 points.

Thornton picked up his fourth foul with 17:07 left with Florida State up 38-33 and the Seminoles managed just two points while he was on the bench.

The Seminoles shot a just 26.1 percent in the second half, going 10 minutes with just a single Swann field goal while Crittenton took the game over. Florida State scored just nine points in the first 16:23 of the second half.

Swann had 14 points in the first half to help Florida State to a 35-30 lead at the break.
