STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -- Charles Rhodes had 19 points and Mississippi State made 11 3-pointers to beat Arkansas 84-60 Wednesday night.
It is the Bulldogs' seventh straight home win over the Razorbacks (15-10, 4-7 Southeastern Conference). With Saturday's win at Auburn, Mississippi State has won back-to-back conference games for the first time since the 2004-2005 season.
The Bulldogs (14-10, 5-6 SEC) shot 58 percent as a team from behind the arc, with Jamont Gordon and Reginald Delk each hitting three long-range jumpers. Gordon had 18 points and a game-high seven assists, while Delk had 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting
The Razorbacks shot only 36 percent from the field, while the Bulldogs hit 49 percent of their shots.
Gary Ervin, a former Bulldog point guard, didn't start and ended the night without a point. He was 0-for-4. Junior Forward Charles Thomas the Razorbacks with 14 points. Sophomore Sean McCurdy added 10 points.
