DENTON, Texas (AP) -- Quincy Williams had 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead North Texas to a 74-69 win over Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday night.
Calvin Watson led the Mean Green (18-9, 9-7 Sun Belt) with 16 points and four assists. He also had five rebounds.
Keith Wooden added 15 points and nine rebounds, while
Ben Bell scored 10.
The Mean Green grabbed four more rebounds than Arkansas-Little Rock, and had 18 boards on the offensive end. North Texas outscored Arkansas-Little Rock in the paint, 38-24.
Rash Jones-Jennings also had a double-double, leading Arkansas-Little Rock (12-15, 7-9) with 22 points and 15 rebounds.
Terrance Akins scored 17 points, hitting three 3-pointers and all six free throws.
Arkansas-Little Rock committed 20 turnovers, seven of them from
Steven Moore.
