STONY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) -- Ricky Lucas scored 22 points and Stony Brook pulled away in the second half Sunday for a 67-49 victory over New Hampshire.
Jermaine Anderson scored 20 points for the Wildcats (9-18, 5-9), who went 5-for-23 from the floor in the second half. Dan McGeary added 19 points, including a 3-pointer that gave New Hampshire its last lead, 33-32, at 17:27 of the second half.
Stony Brook then scored 10 unanswered points to take command at 11:53. Popokos 3 closed out the run.
The Seawolves connected on 20-of-24 free throws in the second half. Solomon Bamiro (six-for-eight) topped that effort.
