PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Dominick Mejia scored 16 points and Scott Rodgers added 14 to lead Drexel to a 64-57 victory over William & Mary on Wednesday.
Frank Elegar added 12 points and Chaz Crawford pulled down 14 rebounds for the Dragons (21-7, 12-5 Colonial Athletic Association), who have won five of six and avenged a disappointing 60-47 loss to the Tribe a week earlier.Adam Payton had 20 points for William & Mary (15-13, 8-9), which has lost two straight following a three-game winning streak.Drexel dominated the first half, shooting 60 percent from the floor to take a 40-17 halftime lead. Mejia scored 14 points in the period and Rogers added 11 points. Drexel held a 16-11 lead before going on a 24-6 run over the final seven minutes of the half.William & Mary shot just 32 percent in the opening session, including 1-of-14 from 3-point range. The Tribe finished only 6-of-25 from the arc.
