Hofstra 68, N.C.-Wilmington 65

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -- Antoine Agudio had a game-high 30 points as Hofstra held off North Carolina-Wilmington 68-65 on Thursday night.

Carlos Rivera added 15 points for the Pride (21-8, 13-4 Colonial Athletic Association), who are now 30-1 in regular-season home games in the past 2 1/2 years. Loren Stokes added 10 points for Hofstra.

Todd Hendley, who made 9 of 16 shots, scored 22 points and added 10 rebounds for the Seahawks (6-21, 3-14), who lost their fourth straight. Temi Soyebo had 11 points and nine assists.

A layup by Hendley tied the score at 58 with 7:40 left, but Rivera hit a 3-pointer with 5:08 left to put Hofstra ahead for good at 61-58.

Darrel Felder hit a free throw to get UNC-Wilmington within 66-65 with 2:34 left, but Agudio's jumper with 26 seconds remaining sealed the victory.
