LITTLE ROCK (AP) -- Adrian Banks scored 18 points -- including 16 in the final 10 minutes -- to lead Arkansas State to a 61-55 Sun Belt Conference victory over Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday.

The victory gives Arkansas State (16-14, 11-7) a share of the Sun Belt Western Division title and a first-round bye in the conference tournament next week.

Louisiana-Monroe also shared the division title but the Indians earned the bye reserved for the champion on the league's tiebreaker.

Arkansas-Little Rock (13-16, 8-10) lost to Arkansas State for the fourth straight time and fifth time in their last six meetings. It was Arkansas State's third straight victory over the Trojans in Little Rock.

Isaac Wells added 14 points for the Indians. Jim Jones and Shawn Morgan had eight points each and Ryan Wedel added seven points and four assists. Terrance Akins led the Trojans with 11 points and Rashad Jones-Jennings had nine points and 19 rebounds. Steven Moore also scored nine.

After a 26-26 first half, the Trojans built a 41-32 lead with 13:07 left but a 10-0 run, sparked by Banks, gave the Indians a 42-41 lead with 7:35 left. Arkansas-Little Rock's last lead was 43-42 with 6:48 remaining, but Wedel answered with a 3-pointer that gave the Indians a lead they would never lose.
