ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) -- Bobby Brown scored 30 points and Frank Robinson had 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead Cal State Fullerton to a 100-92 victory over Pacific in double overtime Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Big West Conference tournament.
Anthony Brown scored a career-high 26 points for the seventh-seeded Tigers (12-19), the defending tournament champions. Michael White added 20 points, Steffan Johnson scored 16 points and Anthony Esparza had 15 points.
Anthony Brown's hook shot gave Pacific a 90-88 lead with 4:43 left in the second overtime period. But Fullerton responded with an 8-0 spurt to take a 96-90 advantage with 1:04 remaining.
In the first overtime period, Robinson's 3-point shot put the Titans ahead 88-86 with 24 seconds left. But Anthony Brown's layin tied the score at 88 with 2.9 seconds to go.
Johnson's two free throws with 33 seconds left in regulation gave the Tigers a 75-71 lead. But Bobby Brown's driving laying forced a 76-76 tie with 19 seconds left.
Johnson had a chance to win the game in regulation but Bobby Brown blocked his jump shot from behind with two seconds remaining.
