FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Josh Wilson scored a career-high 20 points and Kyle Landry added 16 points and seven rebounds to lead Northern Arizona to a 78-65 win over Adams State on Sunday in the season opener for both teams.

Cameron Jones scored 13 points for the Lumberjacks, while Ryan McCurdy had 12 points.

Larry Charles Jr. led Adams State with 20 points. Sean Amos added 13 points for the Grizzlies, while Rece Hampton finished with 10 points and a team-high six rebounds.

The score was tied 24-24 with 6:47 left in the first half when McCurdy's basket ignited a 12-0 Northern Arizona run.

The Lumberjacks led by 11 at the half and never were seriously challenged again.

Northern Arizona plays at No. 17 Arizona on Tuesday night.
