OXFORD, Ohio (AP) -- Brian Roberts' 3-pointer with five seconds remaining capped a second-half comeback that lifted Dayton over Miami of Ohio Wednesday night 63-62.
Miami (3-2) opened the game with 10 straight points and didn't trail in the game until Roberts' 3-pointer. The RedHawks led by as many 19 during a first half that saw Michael Bramos make seven 3-pointers on his way to scoring 25 points -- seven more than Dayton (4-1).
But the Flyers stormed back in the second, closing to within one with 3:34 left and then staying close until the game's final minute.
Bramos made two free throws to expand the RedHawks' lead to three with 23 seconds left. Roberts followed that with a jumper, and then Bramos missed one free throw and made another to give Miami a two-point lead with 13 seconds left. Roberts hit his 3-pointer seconds later.
The Flyers also out-rebounded Miami 15-7 and outscored the RedHawks 45-29 in the second.
Bramos finished with 36 points and nine 3-pointers -- both career-highs. Tim Pollitz added 13 points for Miami.
