TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) -- Tyrone Kent scored 14 points and helped spark a 19-2 first-half run to lead Toledo to a 57-44 victory over Drexel on Saturday night.
Kent's 3-point basket with 13:33 left in the first half gave the Rockets a 10-6 lead and they never trailed after that. Toledo (2-7) expanded its lead to 26-8 on a 3-pointer from Anthony Byrd with 7:29 left in the half.
Drexel (5-4) pulled to 55-44 on Frank Elegar's jumper with 1:39 left but didn't score again.
Elegar led the Dragons with 12 points -- the only player to score in double figures. He also had 8 rebounds.
