WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) -- Todd Hendley and Vladimir Kuljanin each went 6-for-7 and scored 16 points apiece as North Carolina-Wilmington took an 80-56 victory over North Carolina Central on Sunday.

Daniel Fountain scored 15 points for the Seahawks (7-3), who have won six of their last seven games.

A jumper by Hendley at 11:41 of the first half gave UNC-Wilmington a 20-4 lead. Bryan Ayala's jumper with 2:15 left before halftime drew the Eagles to 34-28, but that's as close as they would get.

The Seahawks, who led by as much as 36 in the second half, hit 50 percent of their field goals and made 21 of 24 free throws.

N.C. Central (1-12) shot 36 percent from the field and hit just 11 of 24 free throws in losing its seventh straight game. The Eagles have played 12 of their first 13 games on the road.

Charles Futrell had 15 points, the only player in double figures for the Eagles.
