Alphonso Dawson also had 11 points as the Blue Hens jumped out to a 28-point lead over the Catamounts and fought off a second-half Vermont rally to secure the win.
Mike Trimboli scored Vermont's team-high 18 points -- all in the second half -- and Marqus Blakely had 15 points and team-best seven rebounds on returning to the Catamounts lineup after missing two games with a foot injury.
Delaware used a 21-3 run that spanned over both halves to improve to 3-6.
The Catamounts came up with their own run, scoring 13 consecutive points to pull within 52-38 with 10:11 remaining as their final record fell to 3-7.
The Catamounts cut Delaware's lead it to nine at 67-58 with 23 seconds left in the game as Nick Vier hit a pair of free throws, but they would get no closer.
Delaware held a 33-30 rebounding advantage. The team had 28 ball turn overs, compared to the Catamount's 23.
