EL PASO, Texas (AP) -- Brandon Ewing scored 19 points as Wyoming beat Buffalo 66-63 in the Sun Bowl tournament on Friday night.
Ewing, who also had 5 assists, was one of three players scoring in the double-digits for Wyoming (5-4). Brad Jones had 16 points while Travis Nelson had 10. Jones also had 11 rebounds.Wyoming shot 41 percent from the field while Buffalo (5-5) shot 31 percent. Buffalo led 31-26 at the half.Shooting in the double-digits for Buffalo were Sean Smiley and Greg Gamble with 10 points each.
