DURHAM, N.H. (AP) -- Alex Woodhouse scored 17 points to lead Colgate to a 49-46 victory over New Hampshire on Sunday.
The Raiders (7-5) overcame a 27-24 halftime deficit with a 9-0 run that put them ahead 36-31, and New Hampshire never caught up.
The Wildcats (3-8) lost for the seventh straight time. They had two chances to recover in the final seconds after Colgate turnovers, but Alvin Abreu missed on a drive with 6 seconds left. Tyrece Gibbs grabbed the rebound, but missed a long 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Eric Gilchrese led New Hampshire with 14 points and Abreu had 13.
New Hampshire led much of the first half as Colgate shot 39 percent. But the Raiders hit 10 of 19 shots after intermission while New Hampshire hit only 14 of 54 shots for the game.
