LAWRENCEVILE, N.J. (AP) -- Lamar Johnson came off the bench to score a career-high 21 points -- including six 3-pointers -- as Rider routed Canisius 102-51 on Sunday.

Jason Thompson added 18 points and 15 rebounds while his brother, Ryan, had 15 points and five assists for the Broncs (9-6, 2-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). It marked the first time Rider had scored 100 points in regulation in nearly 10 years.

Elton Frazier scored 22 points off the bench for the Golden Griffins (2-12, 0-4), who shot just 31.5 percent from the floor and were outrebounded 40-31.

The teams traded baskets early on in the first half, but Rider soon took command with a 22-3 run. The Broncs later closed the first half with a 15-2 run, then opened the second half with a 17-2 run to take a 71-27 lead with 13 minutes left to play.
