CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP) -- Matt Shaw had 18 points to lead Southern Illinois to a 77-64 victory over Bradley on Tuesday night, the Braves' sixth straight loss.
Randal Falker added 14 points, Tyrone Green had 12 and Wesley Clemmons and Carlton Fay each added 11 for Southern Illinois (7-8, 2-2 Missouri Valley), which shot a season-best 20-of-21 from the free-throw line.
Southern Illinois went on a 26-12 run over the final 10 minutes of the first half to take a 45-27 lead.
Bradley (7-9, 0-4) cut the deficit to eight points with just over four minutes remaining, but 18 turnovers proved too much to overcome. Southern Illinois shot 67 percent from the field in the first half but hit just 29 percent in the second half.
Bradley played its fourth straight game without senior point guard Daniel Ruffin, the nation's active career leader in assists. He is out indefinitely after surgery for a sports hernia.
