SACRAMENTO (AP) -- Jordan Hasquet's 19 points, 11 rebounds and two assists led Montana to a 76-69 victory over Sacramento State on Saturday night.
Trailing 45-34 early in the second half, the Hornets charged back to cut the Grizzlies' lead 52-49 on a basket by Williams with 8:36 left.
Montana picked up their defense, then went up by 11 points on a basket and two free throws by Hasquet with 5:33 left. The Hornets never got closer than six points the rest of the way.
Kyle Sharp scored three straight baskets and Martin added a trifecta to give the Grizzlies a 23-14 margin in the first half.
Sac State came back to tie the game 32-32 with a free throw by Justin Eller, but Hasquet's two free throws with 1.7 seconds left gave Montana a 34-32 halftime lead.
