TEANECK, N.J. (AP) -- DeMario Anderson scored 25 points as Quinnipiac overcame an 18-point deficit to beat Fairleigh Dickinson 78-74 on Saturday night.

Bryan Geffen added 13 points -- all in the second half -- and Casey Cosgrove finished with 11 for the Bobcats (12-9, 8-2 Northeast Conference).

David Pursley scored 23 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Knights (6-14, 2-8). Manny Ubilla added 21 points, while Bernell Murray had 16 and Eric Hazard finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and three steals.

Trailing 45-28 at the break, the Bobcats started the second half with an 18-4 run to get back in the game. They then held the Knights without a field goal for a nine-minute span but could not put away FDU, who hit 10 free throws during that stretch.

Quinnipiac finally went ahead for good on Geffen's 3-pointer late in the half, then sealed the win by making 7-of-10 free throws down the stretch.
