Montana 90, Sacramento St. 57

MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) -- Andrew Strait scored 21 points and Ryan Staudacher added 19 in Montana's 90-57 rout of Sacramento State on Thursday night.

Strait, who had 10 rebounds, was one of two Grizzlies with a double-double. Kyle Sharp added 13 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. Strait's precision shooting moved him into fifth place on Montana's all-time scoring list, passing UM head coach Wayne Tinkle.

The Grizzlies (12-12, 6-5 Big Sky) took an early 21-8 lead. Matt Martin was especially effective early, scoring 12 of his 14 points in the first half, including all four of his 3-pointers.

Vinnie McGhees scored 18 points for Sacramento State (4-19, 2-10). Jason Davis came off the bench to add 13 points and grab a team-high seven rebounds.

The Grizzlies have won five of their last six conference games, while Sacramento State has lost eight of its last nine.
