AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) -- Kenny Hayes scored 16 points and Tim Pollitz added 12 to lead Miami (Ohio ) past Buffalo, 64-55 in Mid-American Conference play Saturday night.

Tyler Dierkers grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds as the RedHawks (13-11, 7-5) won their sixth in seven games.

Byron Mulkey led Buffalo with 15 points, while Andy Robinson had 13. The Bulls (8-16, 2-10) were 22-of-57 shooting for the game but were anemic in the second half, converting on just 10-of-32 chances.

The RedHawks shot 23-of-44 from the floor, converting 6-of-15 3-pointers and went 12-of-22 from the foul line. Buffalo converted just 2-of-7 3-pointers and went 9-of-13 from the line.
