NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Omar Carter had 24 points and 11 rebounds in Charleston Southern's second straight upset win, 87-82 over Liberty on Monday.
Chris Moore added 22 points and
Jamarco Warren scored 21 for the Buccaneers (9-17, 3-8 Big South), who beat High Point on Saturday to snap a seven-game losing streak.
Charleston Southern hit 12 of 26 3-pointers and
Tovi Bailey's 3 with 4:11 left put the Buccaneers ahead to stay. Carter's three-point play with 2:03 left made it 77-69 as Charleston Southern surpassed its win total from last season.
Anthony Smith and
TeeJay Bannister had 20 points apiece and
Alex McLean scored 17 for the Flames (14-13, 6-6), who lost for the fourth time in six games.
Liberty shot 51 percent, but took 19 fewer free throws in its final road conference game of the regular season.
