GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) -- Roy Bright scored 19 points and hit the clinching shot with 10.3 seconds left on Monday to lead Delaware State to a 70-66 win over North Carolina A&T.
The Hornets were clinging to a two-point lead when Bright drained an off-balance jumper from the right of the lane with the shot clock winding down. The Aggies then missed three shots before time expired.
Donald Johnson also scored 19 points for Delaware State (11-13, 8-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), which avenged a home loss to the Aggies (13-12, 7-5) earlier this season and won for the third time in four games.
Angelo Hernandez scored 14 points, Steven Rush added 12 and Austin Ewing scored 11 for North Carolina A&T, which lost for only the third time in 11 games despite rallying from a seven-point deficit early in the second half.
