Kendall Chones had 14 points for Colgate (13-13, PL 5-7), which snapped a six-game losing streak to beat the Mountain Hawks (12-13, 5-6).
Lehigh was led by Marquis Hall with 29 points.
Colgate shot 48 percent from the field, including 50 percent from 3-point range (7-of-14), while holding Lehigh to 39 percent overall and 25 percent from beyond the arc.
Colgate led throughout most of the first half, leading 31-22 with 6:54 remaining. Lehigh staged a rally scoring the next nine points to take a 33-31 lead on Hall's two free throws with 3:49 left. Colgate finished the first half with back-to-back 3-pointers by Daniel Waddy and Tim Pounds for a 39-35 halftime lead.
In the second half, Colgate scored the first eight points for a 47-35 lead. The closest Lehigh would come was four points, 65-61, with 51 seconds remaining, before Colgate hit six free throws to put the game away.
