Colgate 77, N.C. Central 69

HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) -- Kyle Roemer scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds, leading Colgate to a 77-69 win over North Carolina Central Saturday.

Roemer finished 6-for-9 from the field and scored on 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.

Daniel Waddy added 13 points and had five rebounds for Colgate (14-13), while Kendall Chones scored 11 points and grabbed six boards.

Bryan Ayala led North Carolina (3-26) with 19 points. Charles Futrell scored 14, and Michael Glasker and Tremain Holloway scored 10 apiece.

The Raiders shot 48.1 percent overall and were 9-of-17 on three pointers. The Eagles were 45.1 percent and made 9-of-24 shots from beyond the arc.
