CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) -- Jake Robinson had 17 points Thursday night to help Western Carolina beat Wofford 62-57.

Richie Gordon and Negus McKenna each scored 11 for the Catamounts (10-18, 6-12 Southern Conference), who took control in the final 2 1/2 minutes.

Shane Nichols had 23 points for the Terriers (14-15, 7-12), who shot just 29 percent in the first half but rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit to take a one-point lead late.

Wofford used a 3-pointer from Nichols and a basket from Drew Gibson to take a 57-56 lead, but Arnold Gore and McKenna scored to push the margin to 60-57. Robinson hit two free throws late to cap a 6-0 run that ended the game.
