NEW YORK (AP) -- Mark Porter scored 27 points and had 10 assists to lead Wagner past Quinnipiac 77-68 on Saturday.

Durrell Vinson added 21 points with 13 rebounds for the Seahawks (22-7, 15-3), who clinched second place in the Northeast Division.

James Ulrich added 13 points giving him 1,004 for his career and making him the 37th player in school history to reach 1,000-point mark.

DeMarie Anderson had a game-high 27 points for the Bobcats (15-14, 11-7), who trailed 39-27 at the half. Justin Ruddy had 11 points and Evan Baker added 10 for Quinnipiac.

Vinson's jumper gave the Hawks a 43-27 lead, their largest of the game 70 seconds into the second half.

Quinnipiac closed to 63-61 on two foul shots by Baker with 4:04.

But Wagner closed it out with a 14-7, led by Porter's 10 points.
