SE Louisiana 69, McNeese St. 63

LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) -- Kevyn Green's 29 points included seven of 10 3-point shots as Southeast Louisiana came from behind to beat McNeese State 69-63 on Wednesday.

The Lions (16-12, 8-7 Southland) trailed 29-25 at halftime and 39-32 with 16:10 left.

A 22-5 run put them ahead by by 10 points, and they stayed ahead the rest of the game. McNeese (13-14, 7-8) got within two points at 62-60.

Patrick Sullivan had 14 points and Warrell Span 12 for Southeastern.

Jon Pichon led McNeese with 25 points. None of his teammates made more than eight.

The Lions made five of six 3-point goals in the second half and 58 percent of all of their field goals in that period. McNeese made three of 11 3-point shots and 44 percent of all of their field goals.

The Cowboys outrebounded the visitors 34-27, including a game-high 12 by Kleon Penn, who also blocked three shots.

Both teams have one game left before the conference tournament.
