NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Noah Dahlman had 16 points and Corey Godzinski 13 as Wofford advanced in the Southern Conference tournament with a 58-49 victory over Western Carolina on Friday.

Next up for the eighth-seeded Terriers (16-15) is No. 1 seed Davidson, which went 20-0 in league play this season, in Saturday's quarterfinals. The Catamounts end the season at 10-21.

Western Carolina trailed by two when Dahlman and Godzinski scored seven straight points. Dahlman started things with a bucket, while Godzinski's 3-pointer closed the spurt and give Wofford a 23-14 lead.

The Catamounts came back in the second half to take a 38-36 lead after Negus McKenna's bucket with 10:30 to go. But the Terriers used another 7-0 run to take the lead for good.

Western Carolina cut things to 49-47 with 3:35 left. Then Shane Nichols added a 3-pointer and Dahlman a layup to extend the lead for Wofford.

Jake Robinson led the Catamounts with 14 points, while Blake Gallagher added 10 points.
