HANOVER, N.H. (AP) -- Damon Huffman led a balanced attack with 18 points as Brown extended its record for most wins in a season with a 75-71 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday night.
Brown (19-9, 11-3 Ivy League) got 15 points from Peter Sullivan, 14 from Mark McAndrew and 12 from Chris Skrelja while earning its 10th victory in 11 games and sweeping the season series against Dartmouth (10-18, 3-11).
The Bears, who eclipsed their old record of 17 victories in a season Friday against Harvard, finish the regular season second in the league standings.
The Big Green led by as many as eight points before Brown finished the first half on a 13-4 run to take a 36-35 halftime lead.
Paced by a 12-3 run, the Bears took their largest lead of the night at 68-56 with 3:32 remaining. Dartmouth responded with an 11-2 burst that featured six points from Ball to close to 70-67 with 55 seconds to play. Brown went 4-for-5 from the foul line in the final 31 seconds to lock up the victory.
Both teams shot the ball, well with Brown hitting 61 percent of its shots and Dartmouth 55 percent. Brown outscored Dartmouth from the foul line, 17-5.
