MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (AP) -- Jerrah Young scored 21 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked four shots for Toledo, which beat Central Michigan 90-83 in overtime Sunday.
The game went into overtime tied at 73 after Central Michigan's
Giordan Watson missed two foul shots with three seconds left in regulation. The Chippewas shot just 13-for-27 from the free throw line as a team.
Central Michigan (13-16, 8-8 Mid-American) took an 80-76 lead in overtime, but
Tyrone Kent hit back-to-back 3-point shots to give the rockets (10-18, 7-8) the lead for good at 82-80.
Toledo led by as much at 15 points in the second half, but the Chippewas went on a 15-0 run to pull ahead 72-70 lead with 1:41 to play.
Kent finished with 20 points for the Rockets, who won their first road game of the season.
Jonathan Amos had 26 points and was 16-for-19 from the free throw line. Toledo shot 32-for-39 from the line as a team.
Watson finished with 21 points and eight assists for the Chippewas, while
Jordan Bitzer had 11 points and nine rebounds.
