Coleman leads Houston's rout in tourney consolation game

DURHAM, N.C. -- Aubrey Coleman scored 18 points to lead Houston to a 76-57 rout of Presbyterian on Tuesday night in a consolation game at the 2K Sports College Hoops Classic supporting Coaches vs. Cancer.

Seton Hall transfer Marcus Cousin added 17 points and Kelvin Lewis and Desmond Wade each had 15. The Cougars shot nearly 54 percent and forced 19 turnovers to bounce back from a 65-63 loss to Georgia Southern in the opening round.

Al'lonzo Coleman matched a career high with 19 points and Bryan Bostic added 14 for Presbyterian.

Houston (1-1) took control early by reeling off nine straight points during a 12-1 run that gave the Cougars the lead for good.

Presbyterian (0-2) struggled for the second straight game of its second Division I season. The Blue Hose had three times as many turnovers (12) as made field goals (four) at halftime and made just one 2-point field goal in the opening 20 minutes.
