Shooting for Eureka (0-1) dried up in the second half, dipping to 34 percent after the break from 54 percent before. The Red Devils also sank 9-of-12 3-point shots before intermission, but just 1-of-8 after halftime.
The Leathernecks outscored Eureka 15-5 from the foul line. Western Illinois shot from the line 19 times in the second half, compared to twice for the Red Devils.
