WACO, Texas -- LaceDarius Dunn scored 23 points as Baylor defeated Jacksonville 76-68 Monday night.

Ben Smith scored 18 for Jacksonville (0-4) and Travis Cohn had 11 points.

Baylor shot 50 percent (28-of-56) from the field, but shot just 38 percent in the first half, making 13 of its 34 attempts.

After setting a Big 12 record for consecutive field goals, Baylor freshman Quincy Acy missed his first shot of the season when an 8-foot baseline jumper fell short with 11:07 left in the first half. He had made his previous 18 shots and finished the game 2-of-3 from the field.
