DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Opponents expect Davidson's All-American guard Stephen Curry to put up big numbers in every game. When his teammates start getting hot the Wildcats are tough to beat.Curry scored 39 points and Davidson (No. 25 ESPN/USA Today, No. 24 AP) held off two second-half rallies to beat Florida Atlantic 76-60 on Monday night in an NIT Season Tip-Off consolation-round game.
• Stephen Curry has scored more than 30 points in four consecutive games.
• Andrew Lovedale has scored in double figures in five straight games and nine of his last 10, after doing so just 10 times in his first 90 games.
• Davidson is one of seven schools (Kansas, Memphis, North Carolina, UCLA, Wisconsin and Butler) to have won 29-plus games in each of the last two seasons.
