CLEVELAND -- J'Nathan Bullock led all scorers with 29 points to lead Cleveland State to a 66-42 victory over Valparaiso on Tuesday night.
The Vikings were up by as many as 27 points.
They pulled ahead 20-4 at 8:13 of the first half following a 14-0 run. The Crusaders came within 20-12 with eight unanswered points, but the Vikings scored 11 straight and ended the half ahead 31-14. They pulled to 39-14 with eight more unanswered points to start the second half.
Valparaiso head coach Homer Drew was assessed two technical fouls and was ejected from the game with 6:14 left and Cleveland State ahead 53-38. Bullock scored all four free throws.
The Vikings outscored the Crusaders 46 percent to 20 percent in the first half and scored 31 points off turnovers to Valparaiso's 9.
