Hartford 97, Lafayette 82

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- Michael Turner and Joe Zeglinski both scored 26 points to lead Hartford to a 97-82 victory over Lafayette on Thursday night, the Leopards' fifth straight loss.

Jaret von Rosenberg added 15 points for the Hawks (3-5), while Morgan Sabia had 14.

Andrew Brown lead the Leopards (2-5)with 20 points.

The first half saw nine lead changes. Lafayette cut Hartford's lead to 72-69 with 8:47 remaining, but Hartford went on a 12-2 run, and led by at least 10 points over the final 5:57.

Down by as many as eight points in the first half, Hartford took the lead for good 1:22 before halftime on a layup by Turner.
