Freshman Anthony Tucker came off the bench and added 12 for the Hawkeyes (7-2), including three 3-pointers during a 12-0 run that opened up the game midway through the second half.
Bryant, in its first year of its transition from Division II to Division I, cut a 15-point deficit to eight with 16:27 left. But Tucker -- who didn?t start because of an illness -- keyed the run that put the game out of reach.
Iowa made 73 percent of its shots in the second half, including 8-of-12 shooting from 3-point range.
Tate had eight points for the Hawkeyes, and freshman Aaron Fuller had seven in the second half.
