ORLANDO -- Jermaine Taylor scored 31 points and dished out five assists as Central Florida continued its dominance over Florida Tech in a 110-68 victory on Friday night.

Isaac Sosa finished with 22 points and six assists, P.J. Gaynor added 12 points and A.J. Rompza had 11 points and 10 assists for Central Florida (5-3).

The Knights, who have won 24 of the 26 meetings between the two schools, played the Panthers (6-2) for just the second time since 1988.

Simon Cummings led Florida Tech with 23 points and Derek Hellemann added 16.

The Panthers opened the game with a 12-4 lead before Central Florida took over.

Sosa scored 11 consecutive points, including three 3-pointers, pushing Central Florida to an 18-15 advantage.

After Florida Tech cut the lead to 24-22 with 8:38 remaining, the Knights went on a 13-0 run and led 52-31 at halftime.
