WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Doug Williams had a season-high 16 points to lead three Army players in double figures, and the Black Knights beat Fairleigh Dickinson 74-52 on Saturday night.
Army never trailed, and John Moonshower's jumper midway through the first half put the Black Knights up 20-14.
After Moore hit a jumper in the paint for the Knights, Kenny Brewer sank two free throws, Moonshower converted a fast-break layup and Richard sank two free throws to give Army a 30-16 lead with 4:12 remaining in the first half.
Army, which made 28-of-31 free throws, led 36-21 at the break and boosted the lead to as many as 26 points in the second half.
Army missed its only 3-point attempt, stopping a streak of 210 games with at least one 3.
