CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Calvin Williams scored 25 points and had five blocks, both career highs, to lead Southeast Missouri to a 64-63 win over Western Illinois on Sunday.
The Redhawks snapped a five-game losing streak.
The game stayed close in the second half, with both teams taking the lead at times. They were tied 62-62 with 1:40 left.
Western Illinois' Quenton Kirby had a chance to tie the game again with 48 seconds to go, but he missed the first of two free throws to keep it 64-63 and Southeast Missouri held on to win.
