LINCOLN, Neb. -- Darryl Proctor blocked a shot with one-tenth of a second left to preserve a 66-64 win for Maryland-Baltimore County over Nebraska on Tuesday.

Chauncey Gilliam led UMBC (6-5) with 21 points. Proctor scored 15, Jay Greene added 13 and Matt Spadafora had 11 points for the Retrievers, who led 37-21 at halftime.

The Retrievers didn't score from the field in the game's final 6:34, but they made 9 of 11 free throws.

The Huskers' Steve Harley was fouled with five seconds left. He made the first and intentionally missed the second. The rebound went out of bounds, giving Nebraska (7-3) time for a final shot.

Harley drove into the right side of the lane, but Proctor blocked the shot.

Ade Dagunduro led Nebraska with 19 points. Paul Velander added 14, Harley had 13 and Sek Henry had 12 points before fouling out.
