BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- D.J. Rivera had 22 points to lead five players in double figures as Binghamton beat Rider 69-58 on Tuesday night.
Moussa Camara had 13 points, Malik Alvin 12, Reggie Fuller 11, and Dwayne Jackson 10 for the Bearcats (5-4).Ryan Thompson had 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting for Rider, while Matt Griffin and Justin Robinson each had nine points for the Broncs (6-4).Rider went on a 14-2 run in the first half, and Thompson's steal and dunk had the Broncs up 24-12 at 8:12. But Rider committed six turnovers in the next 3 minutes and the Bearcats rallied.A 3-pointer by Camara moved Binghamton within 28-27 with 1:52 left, and a jumper by Alvin with 2 seconds left gave the Bearcats a 32-30 lead at the break.The Broncs went back in front by five before Rivera scored seven straight points. Alvin's 3-pointer put Binghamton up 48-43 with 8:55 left.
