BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Adnan Hodzic and Michael Teller each scored 19 points, and the Lipscomb Bisons rallied from a 21-point deficit to shock the Indiana Hoosiers 74-69 on Sunday in the final non-conference game for both teams.
Devan Dumes scored 18 points, Verdell Jones had 13 and Tom Pritchard chipped in 12 for the Hoosiers (5-7). Indiana has lost three straight games and five of six heading into its Big Ten opener Jan. 3 at Iowa.
Indiana tied the score at 66 with 2:41 left, but consecutive baskets by Hodzic gave the Bisons a four-point advantage. Following two missed free throws and a failed 3-point attempt from the Hoosiers, Jimmy Oden hit a pair of free throws to put Lipscomb ahead 72-66 with 19 seconds left.
