    SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Kyle Swanston matched his career high with 23 points, including a pair of key 3-pointers, to help James Madison beat Belmont 81-64 in the consolation game of the Cable Car Classic on Tuesday night.

    Pierre Curtis added 16 points, and the Dukes (8-5) won their fourth in five games. Julius Wells had 10 points.

    Shane Dansby scored 16 points to lead the Bruins (5-6), who lost their third in four games. Andy Wicke added 11 points.

    Swanston hit back-to-back 3-pointers early in the second half to tie the game at 41-all. Juwann James scored a minute later to put the Dukes ahead to stay.

    Belmont needed a 13-2 run to pull ahead by halftime, 36-32.
