Washington scores 22 as Razorbacks upset second top 10 team in a week
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Texas coach Rick Barnes can think of one way to improve the Big 12.Just add Arkansas.Michael Washington scored 22 points, including a driving dunk in the final minute, and the Razorbacks beat the seventh-ranked Longhorns 67-61 Tuesday night. Arkansas has now beaten two top 10 teams from the Big 12 this season. The Hogs knocked off then-No. 4 Oklahoma last week.
• Michael Washington's 3-point play with fewer than 30 seconds remaining broke a 61-61 tie and Arkansas held on for its 10th straight win, its longest streak since the 1994-95 season.
• This was the second straight Big 12 top 10 team the Razorbacks have beaten at home (beat then-No. 4 Oklahoma on Dec. 30).
• Texas snapped its 15-game winning streak vs. unranked opponents, and has now lost five straight road games vs. SEC teams.
